What is a Dice Roller?
A dice roller is a digital tool that simulates the roll of physical dice. Whether you've lost your dice, are playing remotely, or just need a quick random result, a virtual dice roller gives you instant, fair results on any device.
This tool supports all standard polyhedral dice used in tabletop RPGs: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100. Roll multiple dice at once and see individual results plus the total sum.
Dice Types Explained
D4 — 4-sided die
A tetrahedron with 4 faces. Used in D&D for daggers, magic missiles, and healing potions.
D6 — 6-sided die
The classic cube die. Used in most board games, Yahtzee, and for damage in many RPG spells.
D8 — 8-sided die
An octahedron. Used in D&D for longsword and halberd damage rolls.
D10 — 10-sided die
Used for heavy crossbow damage in D&D.
D12 — 12-sided die
A dodecahedron. Used by D&D Barbarians for hit dice and greataxe damage.
D20 — 20-sided die
The iconic RPG die. Used for ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws in D&D. Roll a 20 for a critical hit!
D100 — 100-sided die (percentile)
Two 10-sided dice combined to generate 1–100. Essential for percentile rolls in Call of Cthulhu and other TTRPG systems.
